Together, we will visit the ‘open house’ event at Atelierhusene in Emdrup. This provides a unique opportunity to experience various artists in their unique homes. Invitations along with practical information will be sent to you.

Wednesday, October 11th, 4:30 PM
We will have a special tour at the Bank and Savings Bank Museum, introducing the special exhibition “THE ART OF INVESTING – the artists, the collectors, and the experts,” and presenting selected works. The tour will conclude in the cellar, where the old barrels from the time of cherry liqueur production stand, and where we will offer a glass of Cherry Heering.

CBS Art Club General Assembly at Tuesday, 9 May from 4pm at SP 2.01.

The talk by artist Nina Sten-Knudsen and the general assembly will be carried out in Danish but all are welcome.

As a painter, I consider myself a colourist, which is not a matter of course today. I work in depth with my color attitude, look for new challenging compositions and only use the single color in one place in a painting to create dynamism. The paintings are collage-like, which also places extra demands on my use of colors.

I work in different media such as painting, drawing, text, collage, digital collage, textile and readymade sculptures.

In Bjørn Eriksen’s paintings, it is the inner reality that stands out. Various visual oddities are the artist’s way of pointing out that the reality that appears on the canvas is the result of a partially subconscious and partially concious process.

Bjørn shows us specific states and moments in his pictures. He is fascinated by the moment when things or conditions are changing – where everything is still open.
